MICHIGAN EMPLOYMENT SECURITY ACT (EXCERPT) Act 1 of 1936 (Ex. Sess.) 421.32d Unemployment agency; hiring new employees; limitation. Sec. 32d. Notwithstanding any other provision of this act, before hiring a new employee, the unemployment agency shall coordinate with the department of labor and economic opportunity and the Michigan works agencies to determine whether an existing employee of either of those entities may instead be utilized.
