WORKFORCE OPPORTUNITY WAGE ACT (EXCERPT) Act 138 of 2014 408.422 Discharge of employees within 10 weeks of employment; violation. Sec.

12.Any employer that consistently discharges employees within 10 weeks of their employment and replaces the discharged employees without work stoppage is presumed to have discharged them to evade payment of the wage rates established in this act and is guilty of a misdemeanor.
