ADULT FOSTER CARE FACILITY LICENSING ACT (EXCERPT) Act 218 of 1979 400.731 Violation as misdemeanor; prohibited conduct. Sec. 31.
(1)Except as otherwise provided in section 13 or section 22, a person, adult foster care facility, agency, or representative or officer of a corporation, association, or organization who violates this act is guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by imprisonment for not more than 1 year or a fine of not more than $1,000.00, or both.
(2)A person convicted of a misdemeanor under this act or under chapter XXA of the Michigan penal code, Act No. 328 of the Public Acts of 1931, being sections 750.145m to 750.145r of the Michigan Compiled Laws, shall not be involved with an adult foster care facility for a period of 5 years after the conviction in any of the following
