OFFICE OF CHILD SUPPORT ACT (EXCERPT) Act 174 of 1971 400.235 Availability and purposes of information. Sec. 5.

(1)The information obtained by the office shall be available to a governmental department, board, commission, bureau, agency, political subdivision of any state, a court of competent jurisdiction, or the federal government for purposes of administering, enforcing, and complying with state and federal laws governing child support and domestic relations matters. Unless otherwise precluded by state or federal law, the information obtained by the office is also available for purposes specified in 45 CFR 303.21. The office shall not release information regarding the use or payment history of an electronic access or debit card. Information pertaining to this type of account, if needed
