STATE BOARD FOR PUBLIC COMMUNITY AND JUNIOR COLLEGES (EXCERPT) Act 193 of 1964 390.911 State board for public community and junior colleges; creation; membership, appointment, terms, vacancy. Sec.

1.The state board for public community and junior colleges is created and consists of 8 members. The state board of education shall appoint the members who shall hold office for terms of 8 years commencing on February 1, 1965, except that of the members first appointed, 2 members each shall be appointed for terms of 2, 4, 6 and 8 years. The state board of education shall fill a vacancy on the board for the unexpired term. The superintendent of public instruction shall be ex officio a member of the board without the right to vote.
