TRAFFIC ORDINANCES AT STATE UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES (EXCERPT) Act 291 of 1967 390.892 Violation as misdemeanor; penalty; enforcement; disposition of fines and costs. Sec.
2.If violation of a particular provision of the ordinance is designated a misdemeanor pursuant to section 1, that violation is punishable by a fine of not to exceed $25.00 for each violation and may be enforced in any court having jurisdiction and venue over misdemeanors in the political subdivision where the violation occurs. Fines collected by the court for these ordinance violations shall be paid to the treasurer of the political subdivision in which the offense is tried within 30 days after collection, and costs shall be handled in the same manner as provided for costs imposed for violation of misdemeanors under st
