DEPARTMENT OF VETERINARY SCIENCE (EXCERPT) Act 97 of 1907 390.202 Department of veterinary science; classrooms, staff, course of study, degrees. Sec.

2.The said state board of agriculture may provide suitable accommodations for class and demonstrating rooms; may appoint such professors of veterinary science and such tutors, demonstrators and other instructors as may from time to time be necessary; may furnish all necessary apparatus and appliances for the study of veterinary science; may prescribe and regulate the course of study; may make such rules and regulations as may be necessary, and may grant to each student satisfactorily completing the prescribed course of study a diploma and confer upon each such student the degree of "Doctor of Veterinary Science."
