UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN (EXCERPT) Act 151 of 1851 390.2 University of Michigan; object. Sec.
2.The university shall provide the inhabitants of this state with the means of acquiring a thorough knowledge of the various branches of literature, science and arts.
