MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY (EXCERPT) Act 269 of 1909 390.123 Students; qualifications, tuition. Sec.

23.The state board of agriculture shall have power to determine and establish the qualifications of students for admission to the college, and all students having a lawful residence in this state and meeting the established requirements for admission, shall have the privileges of the institution without the payment of tuition, but the board may require tuition of students from other states and countries and fix the amount thereof.
