MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY (EXCERPT) Act 269 of 1909 390.102 Michigan state university; government by board of trustees. Sec.
2.The government of Michigan state university is vested in the board of trustees of Michigan state university. The president of the university shall be ex officio a member of the board without the right to vote and shall preside at meetings of the board. Any reference in this law to "state board of agriculture" shall be construed to mean board of trustees of Michigan state university.
