MEDICAL RECORDS ACCESS ACT (EXCERPT) Act 47 of 2004 333.26271 Applicability of act to third party payer. Sec.

11.This act does not apply to copies of medical records provided to a third party payer, insurer as defined in section 106 of the insurance code of 1956, 1956 PA 218, MCL 500.106, or self-funded plan.
