MICHIGAN HEALTH PLANNING AND HEALTH POLICY DEVELOPMENT ACT (EXCERPT) Act 323 of 1978 325.2012 Providing policy direction and guidance to office of health and medical affairs; prohibited delegation. Sec. 12.

(1)The council shall provide policy direction and guidance to the office in the performance of activities or functions related to the council's powers, duties, or activities.
(2)The council shall not delegate its responsibility for the final approval of the state health plan.
