DOG LAW OF 1919 (EXCERPT) Act 339 of 1919 287.284 Board of county auditors; duties. Sec.
24.In a county having a board of county auditors, that board shall receive, audit, and determine all claims for damages under this act, and when a claim is found to be legal and just, the board of county auditors shall order its payment out of the general fund of the county. A township supervisor or other person designated by the township board in a county having a board of county auditors shall deliver the report of investigation under this act to the board of county auditors.
