DOG LAW OF 1919 (EXCERPT) Act 339 of 1919 287.272 Lost tags. Sec.

12.If any dog tag is lost, it shall be replaced without cost by the county treasurer, upon application by the owner of the dog, and upon production of such license and a sworn statement of the facts regarding the loss of such tag.
