TALL STRUCTURE ACT (EXCERPT) Act 259 of 1959 259.483 Building permits; public utility structures, emergency repair. Sec.
3.No application for a permit shall be required for the emergency repair or replacement of nonconforming public utility structures, other than buildings, to insure continuity of proper customer service, when the height of such structures is not increased by such emergency repair or replacement: Provided further, That any combination of circumstances calling for immediate action or remedy in the repair or replacement of such nonconforming public utility structures shall be deemed an emergency.
