THE PUPIL TRANSPORTATION ACT (EXCERPT) Act 187 of 1990 257.1861 Speed limits; violation; penalty. Sec.
61.A person operating a school bus shall not exceed the speed limits established for this type of vehicle under the Michigan vehicle code, 1949 PA 300, MCL 257.1 to 257.923. A person who violates this section is subject to the penalty assessed for violation of section 627 of the Michigan vehicle code, 1949 PA 300, MCL 257.627.
