THE PUPIL TRANSPORTATION ACT (EXCERPT) Act 187 of 1990 257.1820 Stop-arm camera system; agreement with law enforcement agencies. Sec. 20.

(1)A school bus may be equipped with a stop-arm camera system in accordance with this section.
(2)A school district may do any of the following:
(a)Install and operate a stop-arm camera system on a school bus.
(b)Enter into an agreement with 1 or more law enforcement agencies that establishes enforcement responsibilities for and the reimbursement of any costs related to a camera-based violation of section 682(1) of the Michigan vehicle code, 1949 PA 300, MCL 257.682.
(c)Enter into a contract with a private vendor to do 1 or more of the following:
(i)Install, operate, and provide support to a stop-arm camera system on a school bus.
(ii)Perform the
