MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT CLAIMS ACT (EXCERPT) Act 198 of 1965 257.1125 Nonresident; payment from fund prohibited, exception. Sec.

25.The secretary shall not pay out of the fund any amount in favor of a person who resides outside of this state unless the person resides in a jurisdiction in which recourse of a substantially similar character to that provided by this act is afforded to residents of this state, but no payment shall include an amount that would not be payable by the law of the jurisdiction in which the person resides.
