STATE TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION (EXCERPT) Act 286 of 1964 247.805a Bureau of urban and public transportation; chief administrative officer; deputy director of state transportation department. Sec. 5a. The chief administrative officer of the bureau of urban and public transportation of the state transportation department shall be appointed by the governor, shall serve at the pleasure of the governor, and shall serve as a deputy director of the department. The appointment made pursuant to this section shall be made with the advice and consent of the senate.
