STATE TRUNK LINE HIGHWAY SYSTEM (EXCERPT) Act 51 of 1951 247.667a Office of audit; creation; head; duties, functions, and responsibilities. Sec. 17a. There is hereby established the office of audit within the department to conduct financial and performance audits. The office shall be headed by an individual appointed by, and serving at the pleasure of, the state transportation commission. The duties, functions, and responsibilities of the office shall be as determined by the state transportation commission.
