STATE TRUNK LINE HIGHWAY SYSTEM (EXCERPT) Act 51 of 1951 247.660j Ineligibility for grant or distribution; accrued pension or retirement liabilities. Sec. 10j.
(1)An eligible authority or eligible governmental agency may not receive a grant or distribution pursuant to this act if it has an employee which is considered to be a state employee or is subject to the jurisdiction of the department of civil service.
(2)An eligible authority may not receive a grant or distribution pursuant to this act if the eligible authority assumes responsibility for a pension or retirement benefit which accrued to former employees of acquired public or private transportation systems who are not transferred as regular employees to the authority at the time of acquisition in conformity with sections 13 and 24
