ACQUIRING PROPERTY FOR HIGHWAY PURPOSES (EXCERPT) Act 352 of 1925 213.193 Right to acquire property of municipalities and cemetery associations; exchange. Sec.
23.The provisions of this chapter shall be deemed to extend to and include the right to acquire and take property and property rights held, reserved, owned, used or occupied by any cemetery association or municipality, or by any person, firm, society, association or corporation for cemetery or municipal purposes; to acquire and take property desired by the board or commissioner to exchange for other property which in his or their opinion it is necessary to acquire for highway purposes, whenever he or they have agreed in writing with the owner or owners of such property for such exchange; and to acquire and take the fee to the whole
