MOTOR CARRIER FUEL TAX ACT (EXCERPT) Act 119 of 1980 207.227 Operation of commercial motor vehicle in violation of act prohibited; exception. Sec.
17.When a person is discovered in this state operating a qualified commercial motor vehicle in violation of this act, another person shall not thereafter operate this vehicle on the public roads or highways of this state, except to remove it from the public road or highway for purpose of parking or storing the vehicle, until a license or a trip permit is obtained pursuant to this act.
