MICHIGAN CAMPAIGN FINANCE ACT (EXCERPT) Act 388 of 1976 169.250 Acceptance of honorarium by legislator prohibited; violation as misdemeanor; penalty. Sec.

50.A legislator shall not accept an honorarium. A person who knowingly violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not more than $1,000.00 or imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or both.
