TRANSFER OF UNEXPENDED BALANCES TO COUNTY (EXCERPT) Act 7 of 1949 141.352 Transfer of unexpended balances; submission to electors; conduct of election. Sec.
2.The question of transferring unexpended balances or portions thereof by any township, city or incorporated village to the county in which situated may be submitted to the electors of such township, city or incorporated village by the legislative body thereof at any general election to be held therein or at a special election to be called by the legislative body for that purpose. The provisions of the general election law shall govern the conducting of any such election and the counting, canvassing and returning of votes cast.
