LAND RECLAMATION AND IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY ACT (EXCERPT) Act 173 of 1992 125.2481 Resolution of public or private corporation to pay special assessments. Sec.

31.The governing body of a public or private corporation whose property is exempt by law from the special assessments may adopt a resolution to pay the special assessments against the property. If such a resolution is adopted, the special assessments are a valid claim against the corporation.
