LAND RECLAMATION AND IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY ACT (EXCERPT) Act 173 of 1992 125.2460 Authority board; qualifications of members; certificate; oath of office. Sec. 10.

(1)An individual appointed by, or from nominations made by, the county or township to the authority board shall be qualified by training or experience to perform the functions that are required of a member of the authority board by this act.
(2)Each individual appointed by, or from nominations made by, the county or township and each individual elected to the authority board shall be and remain during his or her term of office either a record owner of real property within the authority district or a resident of this state, but need not be a resident of the authority district or of the county or a township where the authority d
