STATE BOUNDARY COMMISSION (EXCERPT) Act 191 of 1968 123.1002 State boundary commission; creation; appointment, qualifications, terms, and removal of members; vacancy; compensation; expenses; chairman. Sec.
2.The state boundary commission is created consisting of 3 members appointed by the governor with the advice and consent of the senate. The term of office of members shall be 3 years and until their successors are appointed and qualified. A member of the commission may be removed in the manner provided by law for removal of a public officer. A vacancy shall be filled for the unexpired term in the same manner as the original appointment. Members appointed by the governor shall be known as state members and shall qualify by taking and filing the constitutional oath of office. The per diem
