Text
1.Applicability.
The provisions of this chapter apply whenever a financial institution subject to the laws of this State seeks to convert or amend its charter in order to change its chartering authority, change to a different form of ownership or adopt a new corporate name for the institution.
2.Fees.
An application made pursuant to section 342, subsection 1 or 2 or section 342‑A, 343, 344, 345 or 345‑A may not be considered complete by the superintendent unless accompanied by an application fee payable to the Treasurer of State to be credited and used as provided in section 214. The amount of the fee must be established by the superintendent according to different application requirements, but in no instance may it exceed $2,000.
