Text
Terms used in sections 631 to 639 shall be construed as follows unless a different meaning is clearly apparent from the language or context:
1.Candling.
"Candling" means the common practice of examining the interior of an egg by holding and twirling the same before a light passing through an aperture in an opaque shield.
1-A.
Restricted egg.
"Restricted egg" means any check, dirty egg, incubator reject, inedible, leaker or loss.
2.Retail.
"Retail" means selling direct to consumer.
3.Wholesale.
"Wholesale" means selling to retailers.
