§ 5 §18662 — Participation of local districts
Maine·Title 5 ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES AND SERVICES·Part 20 STATE RETIREMENT SYSTEM·Ch. 425 PARTICIPATING LOCAL DISTRICTS
The employees of any local district may participate in the group life insurance program to the full extent of any and all benefits provided for in this subchapter subject to section 18655, subsections 1 and 2. The participation of these employees is governed as follows.
1.Minimum number.
2.Supplemental and dependent insurance.
Employees of a local district who are covered under the basic group life insurance plan are also eligible for the supplemental insurance under section 18656, subsection 2, and dependent insurance under section 18656, subsection 3, if the local district elects to adopt those benefit plans.
3.Information required.
The chief fiscal officer of a local district shall submit to the board whatever information about the employees of the district is prescribed by the board
