Text
As used in this chapter, unless the context indicates otherwise, the following terms have the following meanings.
1.Charter.
"Charter" means a private and special law or series of private and special laws that establishes a sewer district and defines its responsibilities and authorities.
2.Rates.
"Rates" means a rate, toll, rent, assessment, supplemental charge or other lawful charge established by a sewer district pursuant to its charter.
3.Sewer district.
"Sewer district" means a district, including a multipurpose district and standard district, created by a private and special law of the State whose purposes include collection, interception and treatment of sewerage.
