§ 37-B §507 — Authority to receive federal funds
Maine·Title 37-B DEFENSE, VETERANS AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT·Ch. 7 MAINE BUREAU OF VETERANS' SERVICES
The bureau may accept federal funds under any federal law now in effect or hereafter enacted that makes these funds available to the states for:
1.Furnish information to veterans, beneficiaries and dependents.
Furnishing information to veterans and their beneficiaries and dependents concerning their rights under laws of the United States and other states relating to veterans' benefits;
2.Provide assistance.
Providing assistance in making application for benefits;
3.Reemployment and readjustment.
Furnishing information and assistance respecting reemployment and other matters concerning the readjustment of veterans to civilian life;
4.Federal requirements.
Meeting such federal requirements regarding the administration of federal funds as may be conditions precedent to the receipt of thes
