(TEXT IN EFFECT PENDING REFERENDUM: See PL 2023, c. 487, §3) The flag of the State to be carried by the National Guard shall be the same as the flag described in Title 1, section 206, with addition of a scroll in red below the coat of arms of the State bearing the inscription, "Maine National Guard."
(TEXT EFFECTIVE IF REFERENDUM PASSES: See PL 2023, c. 487, §3) The flag of the State to be carried by the National Guard must be the same as the flag described in Title 1, section 206, with addition of a scroll in red below the emblem of the State bearing the inscription, "Maine National Guard."
