Text
As used in this Part, unless the context otherwise indicates, the following terms have the following meanings.
1.Governing body.
1-A.
Consumer-owned water utility.
"Consumer-owned water utility" means any water utility which is wholly owned by its consumers, including its consumers served in the State. "Consumer-owned water utility" includes but is not limited to:

Governing body.
"Governing body" means the governing body of a consumer-owned water utility.
2.Service line.
"Service line" means the pipeline, including the meter and other appurtenances, extending from a water main to the building or other premises served.

"Water district" means any district, including any multipurpose district, created by the private and special laws of the State to perform the functi
