§ 35-A §4372 — Definitions
As used in this subchapter, unless the context otherwise indicates, the following terms have the following meanings.
1.Construction.
"Construction" means the installation of permanent equipment or structures.
2.High-level radioactive waste.
"High-level radioactive waste" means the highly radioactive material resulting from the reprocessing of spent nuclear fuel, including liquid waste produced directly in reprocessing and any solid material derived from that liquid waste that contains fission products in sufficient concentrations; and other highly radioactive material that the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission, consistent with existing law, determines by rule to require permanent isolations.
