§ 35-A §105 — Appointment and term
Maine·Title 35-A PUBLIC UTILITIES·Part 1 PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION·Ch. 1 ORGANIZATION, GENERAL POWERS AND DUTIES
1.Appointment.
The Governor shall appoint 3 members to the Public Utilities Commission. The appointments shall be subject to review by the joint standing committee of the Legislature having jurisdiction over public utilities and to confirmation by the Legislature. Members of the commission shall devote full time to their duties.
2.Term.
The commissioners shall serve for terms of 6 years.
