§ 34-B §1404 — Legal actions
1.Contract actions.
Actions founded on any contract made with the Chief Procurement Officer, or with any official of the department under the authority granted by the Chief Procurement Officer, on behalf of any of the state institutions may be brought by the official making the contract or that official's successor in office.
2.Actions for injuries to property.
Actions for injuries to the real or personal property of the State, used by any state institution and under the management of the chief administrative officer of the institution, may be prosecuted in the name of the officer or that officer's successor in office.
