Text
1.Appointment.
The board shall appoint a full-time administrative assistant to serve at the pleasure of the board.
2.Compensation.
The administrative assistant is entitled to compensation in an amount to be determined by the Governor.
3.Duties.
The administrative assistant shall perform those duties assigned to him by the board.
4.Powers.
The administrative assistant may, subject to the rules of the board, conduct a preliminary hearing with a committed offender at any correctional facility and make written recommendations to the board concerning disposition.
