§ 30-A §7201 — Definitions
Maine·Title 30-A MUNICIPALITIES AND COUNTIES·Part 3 PLANTATIONS AND UNORGANIZED PLACES·Ch. 302 DEORGANIZATION OF MUNICIPALITIES AND PLANTATIONS
As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise indicates, the following terms have the following meanings.
1.Commission.
"Commission" means the Commission on Municipal Deorganization as described in section 7206.
2.Executive director.
"Executive director" means the Executive Director of the Legislative Council.
3.Local committee.
"Local committee" means the local deorganization committee created under section 7203.
4.Municipality.
"Municipality" means a city, town, village or plantation with a population of more than 50 people.
