§ 30-A §703 — Acceptance of state and federal grants
A county may accept and expend grants.
1.Federal.
Counties may apply for and accept and expend Federal Government grants for any purpose for which Federal Government grants are available to counties, either directly or through the State.
2.State.
Counties may apply for and accept and expend state grants for any purpose for which state grants are available to counties, either directly or through a state agency.
3.Application.
This section is not intended to increase, expand or broaden the powers of the counties or to apply to the general revenue sharing funds of the counties.
