Village corporations may take and hold lands by devise or gift, in trust for playground or park purposes, and may expend not more than 10% of the money apportioned to the village corporation, under its charter, for the improvement and care of that land.

1.Park commissioners. A village corporation has the powers of a municipality under section 3264, regarding the appointment of park commissioners.
