Text
A municipality may raise or appropriate money to:
1.Operation.
Provide for the operation of its municipal government;
2.Pensions.
Establish a contributory pension system for its officials and employees, or participate in an existing system;
3.Fire and police protection.
Provide for fire and police protection;
4.Volunteer fire department.
Support an incorporated volunteer fire department, as long as the purposes for which an appropriation is made to a volunteer fire department are itemized;
5.Insurance for use of vehicles.
Insure its officials, employees and volunteer workers against public liability and property damage resulting from their negligent operation of any vehicle owned or leased by the municipality while being used for municipal business;
6.Insurance for performance of dut
