§ 30-A §4933 — Definitions

As used in this subchapter, unless the context otherwise indicates, the following terms have the following meanings.

1.Housing. "Housing" includes, but is not limited to, any "project" or "housing project," as defined in section 4702, subsection 14.

2.Housing Mortgage Insurance Fund. "Housing Mortgage Insurance Fund" means the fund established under section 4934‑A by the Maine State Housing Authority for the purpose of providing insurance for the payment of mortgage loans for housing in the State. 2-A. Housing Mortgage Insurance Program. "Housing Mortgage Insurance Program" means any program of providing insurance for the payment of mortgage loans for housing in the State established by the Maine State Housing Authority.

"Indian Housing Mortgage Insurance Fund" means any Housing Mortgage Insurance Fund established by the Maine State Housing Authority in cooperation with the Indian Housing Authority for the purpose of providing insurance for the payment of mortgage loans for housing on the Indian reservations.
4.
Indian Housing Authority.
"Indian Housing Authority" means any housing authority created by the Maine Indian Housing law.
5.
Indian Housing Mortgage Insurance Committee.
"Indian Housing Mortgage Insurance Committee" means a committee consisting of:
