Text
For the purpose of providing mass transportation services wholly or partially within the municipalities comprising the district, the directors of a district may:
1.Powers over property.
Take, purchase, hold, maintain, operate, lease, rent, mortgage and convey any real and personal property;
2.Leasing property.
Lease or sublease any real and personal property;
3.Private contracts.
Enter into contracts with private companies; or
4.Government contracts.
Contract with the Federal Government, State Government and municipal governments for donations, loans, grants, gifts or other assistance. The directors may agree in these contracts to be bound by all applicable provisions of federal, state or municipal laws, regulations and rules.
