§ 30-A §285 — Collection of fines and costs; examination of sheriff's bond
1.Enforce collection of fines; move examination of sheriff's bond.
For counties within the district attorney's prosecutorial district, the district attorney shall:
2.Civil violation.
If the district attorney neglects either of these duties, the district attorney commits a civil violation for which a forfeiture of not more than $100 may be adjudged. This forfeiture is to be recovered in a civil action in the name of the Treasurer of State.
