§ 30-A §2554 — Ballots, specimen ballots and instruction posters

Except as otherwise provided by its charter, the ballots, specimen ballots and instruction posters for use in a city election are governed by the following provisions.

1.Prepared by clerk. The clerk shall prepare, at the city's expense, the ballots, specimen ballots and instruction posters for use in a city election a reasonable time and as nearly as practicable before each election, in accordance with section 2528, subsection 6. 1-A. Inspection of ballots in an election. The municipal clerk may inspect ballots in accordance with section 2528, subsection 6-B.
2.Write-in votes. In any city election, a voter may write in the name and municipality of residence of any person for whom the voter desires to vote in the blank space provided at the end of the list of candidates for office. A stic
