Text
Each county treasurer shall provide the commissioners of the county with the following.
1.Annual accounting of county books.
The county treasurer shall prepare and deliver the annual account as treasurer to the county clerk. This account shall be enclosed with the estimates for county taxes made by the county commissioners and sent to the Secretary of State.
2.Account of money or effects.
Every treasurer holding money or effects belonging to the county, annually and more often if required, shall provide an account of the money or effects to the county commissioners for adjustment.
3.Account of federal money for use of jails.
The county treasurer shall receive, for the county, all money paid by the United States for the use and keeping of county jails and account for that money according
