Text

As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise indicates, the following terms have the following meanings.

1.Certificate of origin. "Certificate of origin" means the original written instrument or document required to be executed and delivered by the manufacturer or an importer to the manufacturer's or importer's agent or dealer or a person purchasing directly from the manufacturer or importer certifying the origin of the vehicle. For a motor home, "certificate of origin" means both the manufacturer's and the chassis manufacturer's certificates of origin. 1-A. Clip. A clip is the portion of a vehicle removed by cutting the front or rear of the frame or unibody the width of the vehicle.
