Text
1.Suspension.
The Secretary of State shall immediately suspend the license of a person who negligently operates a motor vehicle in a manner as to cause the death of a person:
2.Period of suspension.
The period of suspension is 3 years, consecutive to any suspension imposed by the Secretary of State for failure to take a test. If a suspended license is subsequently revoked under section 2454 on charges arising out of the same occurrence, the length of suspension actually served under this section is deducted from the period of revocation imposed pursuant to that section.
3.Hearing issues.
A person whose license has been suspended under this section may request a hearing pursuant to section 2483. The scope of the hearing must include whether:
